Dr. Dino M. DeFilippis received his dental degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1986. He graduated with honors and was admitted to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. He received numerous awards including the Herbert J. Bartelstone Award in Pharmacology, the Van Woert Scholarship Award, the American Academy of Oral Pathology Award and the New York Board of Oral Surgery Award.

Dr. DeFilippis received his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center from 1986 to 1989, serving as chief resident of the program from 1988 to 1989.

Dr. DeFilippis is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Ninth District Dental Society, the New Rochelle Dental Forum, The Westchester Shore Dental Forum and the New York Academy of Dentistry.

Dr. DeFilippis is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia University, along with being on staff as an Assistant Attending at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He provides clinical teaching to dental students as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery and dental residents. This association with a world-class teaching institution allows Dr. DeFilippis to stay abreast of innovations in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. DeFilippis has been dedicated to the New Rochelle/Westchester Shore community, providing his services at his current location for three decades. He and his wife have celebrated a joyful 40 years of marriage and are the proud parents of one adult son.
